Out of the cave
I suppose I should post an update, seeing as it’s been probably too long since the last one. Work progresses on Carbon #4. The stack of completed pages is slowly growing, marking the passage of days, weeks, months. I’m pretty happy with how the story’s coming together and am becoming more and more comfortable with my art. I don’t even hate inking as much as I used to. I even kind of like it sometimes. Sometimes. Does that mean I’m maturing as a cartoonist?
Sadly, I’ve been neglecting “Tin Man.” But I will get back to it soon. Seems like working on that story needs the cold of winter for some reason.
I’ve also been tinkering with a new “Breathers” story. I don’t really want to get too distracted by that just yet. Not until Carbon is finished. But the story idea is there. And it’s not going away. That’s usually a good indicator that there’s something worth pursuing.
So, that’s an update. Now can I crawl back into my cave?
